Paint Touchups with Revolution

Chris from Canada writes:
If you have a dog or cat and use Revolution for parasite control (the liquid, not the tablets) you probably already use the amber glasses and vases the caps provide, but if you rinse the tube out, you can refill them with anything like custom mixed paint colours or stains to keep on hand for emergency touch-ups of minis. If you screw the cap back on VERY tightly (just like you do when you first open it) the cap will snap down and provide an airtight seal. Then all you have to do is label which project it belongs to, put it in a storage bag and then remember where you put the bag when you spot an 'uh-oh' on that project a week later. :-D

Take a Pill!

Chris from Canada writes:
You know those little plastic containers of desiccant you sometimes find in the larger size bottles of pills? Well, they are not only good for 1:12 waste baskets, paint cans or canisters with the addition of a bead on top, some paint and a label, but if you open them up, they'll have either very tiny charcoal (briquets for your BBQ or coal fireplace), or beautiful crystal-clear silicone (??) marbles to use as candies in a jar, marbles for a child or to add some pizzaz in the bottom of a vase of flowers or lucky bamboo.
WARNING!! THESE ARE DESIGNED TO ABSORB MOISTURE SO IF YOU WANT TO FASTEN THEM DOWN DO NOT USE A WATER-BASED GLUE!
They're OK with SuperGlue as well as silicone, but those are the only ones I've tried. I'm not sure about using them with Magic Water or liquid resin for rising bubbles in a bottle or pond, but next time I need faux water, I'll give it a try.

Sinks

Leilani from the Wee Creations group wrote:

On the cover of egg cartons there are two very small indentations on the part that holds the cover closed in place. They look like they can be used as possible tiny sinks, or maybe as a bath tub.
